During the 2021-2022 academic year, Williams-Mystic will embark on a new adventure: The Maine Field Seminar. The students who study with us this year will dive deep into answering questions like how is the interaction between climate change and cultural change linked on the Maine coast? What would it mean to cope with or adapt to either kind of change? What is lost if adaptation isn’t possible? During this experience, the students will explore the way human lives are dependent on the sea and how climate change affects the relationship between the two.
