How to Apply
Application Components
Please note that many colleges and universities have their own requirements for students to study away, which may include an additional application in order to be approved for study away. We encourage you to complete any home institution requirements and inquire about home institution deadlines before starting your Williams-Mystic application.
Please be sure to check with your school’s study abroad office regarding additional study away requirements and campus deadlines. If you have any questions about the application process, contact us at [email protected]. We work closely with Williams-Mystic applicants to support the transfer of credit and financial aid from the home campus.
Application Timeline
Williams-Mystic offers rolling admissions to accommodate the range of deadlines at our participating colleges. However, the cycle is anchored by the early action and regular decision deadlines for each semester. It's important to note that both semesters often fill after the early action application deadline. We recommend that students submit their applications by the early action deadline, both due to our limited capacity and for financial aid consideration, if applicable.
If our early action dates have passed, we welcome your inquiries regarding space availability, as sometimes our students shift semesters.
Regular decision deadline applications will be considered for fall and spring semesters only if there is space available after the early action deadlines or for applications to the waitlist.

Semester | Early Action | Regular Decision |
---|---|---|
Fall 2025 | March 17, 2025 | April 15, 2025 |
Spring 2026 | June 2, 2025 | October 15, 2025 |
Please remember that your college/university may have their own application processes and deadlines. It is common that home institution deadlines are earlier than the Williams-Mystic deadlines.
Once students have completed their application and had an interview, they can expect an admissions decision within two weeks. Admitted students will be asked to confirm their enrollment within a week of receiving their decision letter and financial aid award, if applicable. We will occasionally reach out to applicants to discuss the possibility of being added to a waitlist or enrolling in an alternate semester.
