Credit Transfer

Each semester, Williams-Mystic welcomes students from a wide range of colleges and universities. Our admissions team works with each of these institutions on a case-by-case basis to ensure credits transfer.

Williams-Mystic is considered the coastal campus of Williams College, and students who attend Williams-Mystic receive an official Williams transcript for their Mystic coursework. Williams College awards 18 credit hours for a Williams-Mystic semester (for Williams College students, this is the equivalent of four courses and one winter study).

We suggest converting credits to the following:

• Semester credits — If you or your institution wishes to convert to semester credits, we suggest considering each of our courses to be the equivalent of 4.5 semester hours or a total of 18 semester-hour credits for the program.

• Quarter credits — If you or your institution wishes to convert to quarter credits, we suggest considering each of our courses to be the equivalent of 6.75 quarter hours or a total of 27 quarter-hour credits for the program.
