Ways to help
Donate to the James T. Carlton Annual Fund
The James T. Carlton Annual Fund directly funds Williams-Mystic tuition grants and lets new students spend a life-changing semester with us. Every dollar helps!
We’re updating our social networks every day and would love to keep in contact with you online. You can look at pictures from the current semester, comment on our updates, re-connect with your old classmates, and stay up to date on the Program. So take a look: we’re on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Our online store has all the gear you need to show your love for Williams-Mystic! From mugs to sunglasses to fleece vests, we have gear for every climate from the Gulf Coast to the PNW.
Hang Up a Poster
Did you learn about Williams-Mystic by seeing one of our posters on your home campus? That’s the story for a lot of our alumni! You can help us by placing our posters in your campus center, dining hall, or other widely used spaces where they’re likely to be seen. Email [email protected] and we’ll send you a few.
Host an Alumni Swizzle
If you live in an area with a handful or a ton of alumni, consider hosting a get-together for connecting past, present, and future Williams-Mystic students. It’s a great way to meet and network with new people, talk about your semester, and enjoy some delicious food. If you would like help scheduling, planning, or advertising your Swizzle, contact our office at 860-572-5359 ext. 4 or [email protected].
Join the Williams-Mystic LinkedIn Group
If you can’t make it to a Swizzle, you can still connect with our alumni community on LinkedIn. Join our LinkedIn alumni group if you want to exchange job opportunities with other alumni, or if you just want another way to stay in touch.
Update your contact information and class notes
Have you moved, started a new job, or just want to send a note to your shipmates? Let us know! Send any contact information updates or class notes to us at [email protected]; we’ll feature class notes in our next Gam or eGam.
If you know a current college student who would enjoy spending their semester traveling (and snacking) across the US, crafting original research, and discovering all things maritime, send them our way by filling out an information request on their behalf.
